Capstone Group, a Lower Gwynedd-based insurance and employee benefits brokerage, has been sold to The Baldwin Group, a Florida-based insurance and risk management.

According to The Philadelphia Business Journal, Capstone was founded in 2013 and had 29 employees last summer. In 2021, the firm was ranked among the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. and was listed among the Journal’s Best Places to Work in 2025.

In related news, the Ambler-based Trusted Land Transfer, a title and real estate settlement service provider, has acquired Lawyers Settlement and Abstract of Pittsburgh.

Ownership told The Journal that the transaction will help the firm achieve a targeted 60% increase in annual revenue this year and that their revenue is split evenly between residential and commercial real estate, with the commercial deals ranging as high as $40 million.
