Lower Gwynedd Township welcomes back the fourth annual Pike Fest on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 from 10am – 4pm on Bethlehem Pike in Spring House.
Close to 5,000 people attended last year’s Fest and organizers expect a larger crowd at this year’s celebration. Pike Fest showcases and celebrates the Lower Gwynedd Community and the businesses on Bethlehem Pike, many of which will offer Pike Fest specials and other promotions.
The day starts with the Born to Run 5K at 8 am, with food trucks in the lot of Born to Run. Runners can register at www.pretzelcitysports.com
There will be 125 booths of crafters, artisans, local businesses, food trucks, DJ all day, free amusements for kids and new to Pike Fest this year is a classic car display and Action Karate demonstration. Some of the event’s line-up is listed below:
- 11am | The Wissahickon High School Marching Band performs
- 11:30am |Action Karate demonstration
- 12pm | The nationally ranked WHS Robotics Team has a showcase
- 1pm | School of Rock will be performing
- 2:15pm | New Dance Workshop performance
Also, Spring House Tavern will be celebrating their 300th anniversary with a food and beer tent.
