The former Texaco station, at the corner of Sumneytown and Bethlehem Pike, is coming down today. Lower Gwynedd Township Supervisor, Kathleen Hunsicker told us:
“The eyesore will be transformed into attractive open space at the gateway to our community. $100,000 is going towards the demolition, regrading, seeding and making this space green. We want to see how the space works visually, and how it melds between Veterans Memorial Park, and the advancing Spring House shopping center, before any further designs to the space are considered.”
