Man airlifted after crash in Montgomery Township, multiple fire and police units dispatched

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Horsham Road and the 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township Saturday night resulted in a man being trapped in his vehicle and subsequently hospitalized.

The Fire Department of Montgomery Township and several other area fire companies were dispatched around 10:30pm on June 10. Crews successfully extricated the man, who was airlifted to Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

He is currently listed in critical but stable condition. The other driver was uninjured.

Montgomery Township Police were assisted by units from the Lower Gwynedd Police Department, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Colmar Fire Company, North Penn Fire Company, and Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale, along with fire police from Colmar, North Penn, Fairmount, Centre Square, Hatboro, Horsham, Wissahickon, and Chalfont fire companies.
