Kyree Elijah Corey Williams, 24, of Lower Southampton Township, was sentenced to 3.5 to 7 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of person not to possess a firearm, firearm not to be carried without a license, possession of a prohibited weapon, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest in connection with a domestic-related incident in Ambler on June 13, 2023, Mainline Media News reported.
Williams was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm with a “machine gun conversion device” and a stolen vehicle, the article said.
An investigation began when Ambler police responded to an apartment in the 100 block of South Locust Street for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress between Williams and a woman who lived at the apartment.
Arriving officers said Williams was “shaking and sweating profusely” and became confrontational with police, who discovered that he was in possession of multiple driver’s licenses, identification cards and stolen credit cards.
