Melody’s Vietnam Grill is Second Restaurant Coming to Ambler Cabaret Location

In the beginning of July we updated you on the three restaurants that are coming to the former Ambler Cabaret Building at 51 East Butler Avenue.  The first one we revealed is a BYOB Sushi restaurant named Sushi Hatsu ( read article ). We recently discovered that the second restaurant is a Vietnamese seafood and steakhouse named Melody’s Vietnam Grill.

AroundAmbler.com had the chance to catch up with the owners of Melody’s Vietnam Grill, which will be located next to Sushi Hatsu and in the same building.  Melody’s is currently under construction and is set to open in early to mid-September. Here are a few images of the 1600 square foot space before and during construction:

Melody’s Vietnam Grill plans to have a casual, open-kitchen concept with rustic wood and metal decor, and will include a large counter where you can sit and eat, in addition to dining tables that will seat about 48 people.

Anna Nguyen, Owner and Chef

Anna Nguyen, Melody’s owner and chef, is from Vietnam and came to the United States as an international student.  Her menu draws from original Vietnamese recipes passed down to her from her mother and grandmother, and will feature seafood, steak and an authentic Pho with a modern twist.

Melody’s Vietnamese Grill will be a BYOB, however they are currently looking into getting a liquor license to serve beer, and hoping to be able to offer beer from a local brewery.

We will keep you updated about Melody’s Vietnam Grill’s progress and opening date…stay tuned.
