Montgomery Township enacts new parking ordinance with 60-day warning period

The Montgomery Township Board of Supervisors announced a new parking ordinance which became effective on October 27.

The township will begin with a 60-day warning period to help residents adjust to the changes.

“During this time, warnings will be placed on vehicles found in violation of the new parking regulations — no fines will be issued during this phase,” the announcement said.

After the warning period ends, full enforcement will begin and citations may be issued for violations.

“These updates are part of the Township’s continued efforts to improve traffic flow, enhance safety, and ensure fair access to on-street parking,” the announcement said.
