Montgomery Township man sentenced for threats, gun during road rage incident on Bethlehem Pike

Cauras Jashom Garland, 42, of the 5300 block of North Camac Street in Montgomery Township, was sentenced to 6 to 23 months in the county jail after pleading guilty to charges of firearms related to a road rage incident in February 2021.

According to The Reporter, his sentence begins July 7.

Garland exited his vehicle and approached another driver while carrying a handgun, at which point they exchanged words. Garland then “placed the gun to the victim’s temple and pushed it in,” according to the arrest affidavit.

Garland stated to the victim, “I don’t know who the (expletive) you think you are but I don’t play that (expletive),” according to police.

The incident took place along Bethlehem Pike in the township.
