Montgomery Township police seeking information related to a two-vehicle crash on Dec 27

The Montgomery Township Police Department announced today that on December 27, at approximately 9:30am, officers responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Horsham Road and Stump Road.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a black Mercedes S550 was traveling east on Horsham Road and collided with a maroon Mazda CX-5 that was traveling south on Stump Road. The driver and two passengers in the Mazda were transported by ambulance to Abington Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision, police said.  The driver of the Mercedes refused medical treatment.

The intersection of Horsham Road and Stump Road was closed for approximately five hours during the investigation and was reopened at approximately 4:00pm.
