On the May 7th agenda for Whitpain Township’s Board of Supervisors

On the May 7th agenda for Whitpain Township’s Board of Supervisors is a hearing involving the former Reed’s Nightclub property, a presentation and motion involving traffic concerns on Mercer Hill Road, and approval of a decision involving a billboard.

The condition use hearing about the former Reed’s Nightclub property at 1448, 1462, and 1486 involves a proposal that seeks to construct an “Active Adult Housing Development.” The proposal is from Franklin Village Partners, LLC.

Following the hearing, there is a scheduled presentation on a traffic study involving Mercer Hill Road. After the presentation there will be a motion to consider the authorization for the township’s manager to advertise an ordinance that would amend parking restriction along the road and add stop intersections.

A third item involves the supervisors voting to approve the decision and order involving a proposal for a billboard in Blue Bell that would have faced the turnpike. That proposal was denied.
