UPDATE – The Whitpain Township Police Department reports that there were no injuries.

A plane is sitting partially on Stenton Avenue near the runway for Wing’s Field in Blue Bell (Whitpain Township). The Montgomery County Active Incident Report shows debris/fluids on the roadway near the intersection of Walton Road and Stenton Avenue. The incident was reported to first responders at 6:51 p.m. The photograph above was taken at 6:40 p.m.

According to flight tracking software, the plane departed Hyannis, MA at 4:58 p.m. and was to arrive at Wings Field at 6:06 p.m.

That is all the information we have at this time. No report of injuries or what led to the plane in the roadway. We will provide an update if needed.
