“Security situation” leads to early dismissal at Wissahickon High School

The Wissahickon School District has announced that a police investigation due to a “security situation” has led the district to have an early dismissal for high school students on Thursday, September 12th, at 1:15 p.m. The district reports that all students are safe and that the district’s other schools are not impacted.

We are working to learn more about the situation that led to the early dismissal.

UPDATE – NBC10 reports that a single bullet was found at the school. This is what we have been told by sources as well.
