Our last #meetyourfarmerfriday ! Here’s our fearless farm manager Kirstie. She began her time at Pennypack as a volunteer until she participated in the apprenticeship program. Kirstie lives, breathes, and eats farming all day everyday, working tirelessly to keep this ship on course. . Her kindness guides her in all she does, and she has a wealth of knowledge of all things, probably because she reads biology textbooks, 12 magazines from business, history, to traveling, and listens to just as many podcasts. She’s passionate about planting cover crops and soil health and carrots are her absolute favorite vegetable to grow and eat.
