A very violent storm just rolled through the area just after 12:00 p.m. yesterday and knocked out the power to thousands.

AroundAmbler.com published an article on the outages at 12:53 p.m. and the number of outages has actually grown since that first report in two of the four municipalities we cover.

Below are the numbers we reported at 12:53 p.m. Wednesday and the numbers as of 6:48 a.m. this morning.

• Ambler – 1,294/2,368
• Lower Gwynedd – 1,642/2,195
• Upper Dublin – 4,572/3,232
• Whitpain – 4,322/3,766

The vast majority of the current outages do not give an expected restoration time. When PECO does offer a projection it is 11:00 p.m. tonight.
