A train derailed just before 5:00 a.m. near the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Joshua Road in Whitemarsh Township.

According to NBC10, there are multiple cars off the tracks, including containers and tankers, and it appeared a white substance was leaking from at least one tanker.

In an update, NBC10 reported that roads are closed in the area and that there are evacuations.
