‘Tunnel Farm’, centuries-old Ambler estate with indoor riding arena, lists for $5.39M

The “Tunnel Farm,” a 24-acre property in Ambler, is now on the market for $5.39 million.

The original structures at 720 Swedesford Road were built in 1742, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported. The property includes a 17,000 sf riding arena, three livable structures and gardens that are archived in the Smithsonian.

The main house has four bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and one of the outbuildings is attached to a renovated 200-year-old barn with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Another outbuilding is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom space.

The property also features two pickleball courts, a pond, an arboretum and an orchard on the property.

The property is currently owned by Andrea and Brad Heffler, who purchased it in 2012, according to property records.
