On January 28th at the meeting of the Upper Dublin Board of Commissioners, there was a presentation on the current plan for Twining Valley Park.

The township purchased the golf course in 1968 and was leased to a golf management company from 1982 to 2019. Throughout that time the course was known as Twining Valley Golf & Fitness Club and Upper Dublin Golf & Fitness Club.

In 2014, the township began a feasibility study to determine the best uses for the course as a park. Recreational golf is on a downswing and hundreds of courses have closed across the country.
