The Upper Dublin Township Police Department released a statement today cautioning residents about a suspicious incident on Twining Road in Dresher during the afternoon of Thursday, June 13.
According to police, a 12-year-old girl and her younger brother reported that they were approached by a white male with gray balding hair, wearing a gray shirt and dark-colored overalls and driving a white-colored SUV with silver lettering the side.
The male reportedly stopped his vehicle, rolled down his windows, and asked both children if they knew where to find Madison Road before exiting his vehicle and asking if they like firetrucks.
The children claim that the male then returned to his SUV and attempted to grab something from the backseat of the vehicle, at which point the children ran away and found a neighbor.
Police said the incident appears to be isolated.
Anyone with information about the driver’s identity is requested to contact Detective Mike Scarpato at Michael.Scarpato@udpd.us.
