The summer heat is upon us and that means cars and trucks baking in the sun. Every year, approximately 38 children die from being left inside a hot vehicle.

Often, it is a parent or caretaker that unintentionally leaves a child behind because they’re distracted. Everyone thinks it can’t happen to them but it can!  

The Whitpain Police Department has produced a public service announcement (PSA) to show how deadly a vehicle can be to a child or a pet and to provide safety tips. 

See the PSA below…it will only take two minutes but it could save a life.
