Whitpain Township has released some weather emergency information:

As of 2 p.m., the following stretches of roads are closed due to downed trees:

– Skippack Pike from Penllyn Blue Bell Pike to Walton Road
– Morris Road from Penllyn Blue Bell Pike to Mercer Hill Road
– The entire length of Lewis Lane

Other trees are reported down in the Township as a result of the high winds.

The Wissahickon School District has advised to expect delays with school buses due to road closures and weather conditions.
