Whitpain Community Festival this weekend

Whitpain Township is holding its annual Whitpain Community Festival on Friday, September 26th and Saturday, September 27th at Montgomery County Community College. Admission to the event is free and open to all. There is a cost for some activities, including food trucks, and kids activities.

Kids can check out fire trucks, construction vehicles, tractors, and more.

The event is offering a “minimal noise” hour from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. During this time, the event requests that no horns/sirens be used. Parents are asked to help maintain an inclusive environment and ensure their children refrain from honking horns during this time.

The event includes vendors, a health expo, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, pony rides, hayrides, children’s games, a rock wall, food trucks, and more.

2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Beer Garden
2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. – Ants on a Log (entertainment for children)
3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. – Fort Washington School of Rock
5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Andorra
7:00 p.m. – Lima Bean Riot
8:15 p.m. – Fireworks
