The Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors and the Centre Square Fire Company welcomed three new employees: Matt Maguire, Ryan Thomas, and Jim McFadden.

Maguire, who is serving as a part-time Deputy Fire Marshal, comes to Whitpain with decades of experience in fire and rescue services. He recently retired from Lower Merion after serving for over three decades in the Fire Marshal’s office and has been a volunteer at Centre Square Fire Company for even longer.

Firefighters Thomas and McFadden were recently hired by the township as career firefighters serving with Centre Square Fire Company. 

Thomas has been a firefighter since 2014 serving with a fire department in Bucks County and served for four years in the PA National Guard. McFadden has been a firefighter since 2012 working with municipalities in Chester County, officials said.
