The Yellow Tea House opened on March 28th at 61 North Main Street in Ambler. The proprietors are
Kurt and Kristen Wente, who previously owned and operated Pie & Plate in Ambler. That business was sold at the end of 2025 and continues to operate under new ownership at 43 North Main Street.

The Yellow Tea House offers a selection of teas, along with a daily soup and frittata, sweet and savory scones, desserts, and several sandwiches. All are served on vintage china. There are two English themed dining rooms, a limited amount of outdoor seating, and two party rooms on the second floor.
