If you’ve been thinking about popping into the new Zerogradi Gelateria Espresso Bar at 58 East Butler Avenue…do it!   Zerogradi’s clean, modern decor and authentic menu is reminiscent of any authentic Gelateria Espresso bar you would find in Italy, except it’s right here in our town.

From Calabria, Italy, 29 year old owner Fabio Pilo and his partner, Francesco Paone started this business because they wanted to bring the concept of real Italian Gelato to Ambler and the surrounding area.   Fabio says,

…in Italy, there is good gelato everywhere, over here, that’s not the case.  The products sold here are usually not real gelato. We wanted to bring great gelato to this area.

Zerogradi (meaning zero degrees in Italian) uses all natural ingredients and traditional recipes to create a truly authentic Italian experience.  The entire range of products offered on the menu are handcrafted and simply mouthwatering.  From the gelato selection, to Fabio’s hometown specialties like Tartufo and Semifreddi, the Nutella- filled crepes, Le Coppe Zerogradi ( the Italian version of the ice cream sunday),  and the espresso and cappuccino, this spot is a must visit. After taste-testing several flavors, there is no doubt that Zerogradi is the real deal.

In addition to the store, Zerogradi is also a wholesale business, serving many local restaurants. Everything on the menu is made to order, and also available to be ordered for catering purposes.
