Zoning hearing in Ambler involves grading and fence in floodplain conversation district

On the agenda for the May 2nd meeting of the Borough of Ambler’s zoning hearing board is the reorganization of the board for 2024 and one application. The application involves the property that is home to La Provence. The restaurant is seeking to install a fence and grade a portion of the property. These actions require zoning relief as they fall within the Floodplain Conversation District.

Application Number ZHB – 0001 – 24: Hearing on the request of Cindy Jimenez and Manuel Jimenez (sublessee) for the real property located at 27 W. Butler Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002 parcel number 01-00-00532-00-7 (the “Tract”) requesting a special exception pursuant to Section 27-1910.G to permit grading within the Floodplain Conservation District. The applicant further requests a special exception pursuant to the provisions of 27-1910.I to permit a fence within the Floodplain Conservation District. The property is located in both the C Commercial Zoning District and the Floodplain Conservation District.

The hearing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Ambler’s borough hall.
