Ambler police arrest man for aggravated assault, woman for providing false ID

The Ambler Borough Police Department announced the arrest of Jamal Adams-Black, 37 (above left), for aggravated assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

According to the report, officers responded to an assault in progress on August 27 at approximately 8:04am at the 200 block of Southern Avenue.

Police said the victim sustained multiple injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Adams-Black was taken before a District Magistrate where he was advised of his charges. The judge issued bail and Adams-Black was remanded to Montgomery County Corrections Facility.

In related news, the department announced the arrest of Jamee Avallone, 38 (above right), for providing false information to police.

According to the report, officers responded to a suspicious person call on August 6 at approximately 3:49pm at the 300 block of Valleybrook Road.

Police located Avallone, who provided false identification. Police later learned her correct name which revealed active warrants for her arrest.

A warrant was later issued for Avallone and she was arrested on September 20. She is currently incarcerated and awaiting arraignment, police said.
