There is a new restaurant coming to Ambler in mid-September…Gabby’s Banh Mi Shop will open it’s second location(the first is located in Willow Grove) at 9 North Main Street, where El Cerrito was previously located.

Chris and Anna Nguyen are not only the owners of Gabby’s Banh Mi Shop, but also of another new restaurant coming to Ambler called Melody’s Vietnam Grill. You may remember we wrote about it in July. Melody’s is a BYO Vietnamese seafood and steakhouse ( ICYMI, read about Melody’s here) and the second restaurant coming to the Ambler Cabaret location at 51 East Butler Avenue.

Gabby’s Banh Mi Shop is a Vietnamese chain that specializes in Banh Mi hoagies.  It is also known for its unique fries which are seasoned with Asian ingredients.  In addition to Banh Mi hoagies, Gabby’s menu will offer a variety of chicken wings, simple homestyle Pho with beef, chicken or vegetarian options.  Vietnamese iced coffee, iced fruit teas, milk teas and smoothies will also be featured, all with the option to add Boba ( bubbles) and a variety of other beverage toppings.
