The Wissahickon Valley Historical Society recently shared an update about the Ambler Train Station Freight House, which had been considered for demolition in recent years. After a successful effort to save the 1855-built structure that was part of the original Wissahickon Station, deconstruction has begun.

Once deconstructed, the building will be stored until a new home can be found.
