Dreshertown Road construction postponed until next week

PennDOT will begin construction at Dreshertown Road on Monday, April 10th at 8:00am until Friday, April 14.

Dreshertown Road will be closed daily between the hours of 8:00am and 3:00pm as PennDOT installs two new inlets and a cross pipe to improve drainage and help prevent water collection on the roadway near Nicole Drive.

Construction will take place on Dreshertown Road between Aidenn Lair Drive and Nicole Drive. Detour signs have been placed to help guide motorists around the closure and will be removed once construction is completed. Turns can still be made onto Nicole Drive if coming from the direction of Welsh Road, as well as onto Beacon Hill if coming from the direction of Limekiln Pike.

The construction was originally scheduled to begin this week.

Traffic delays are expected during construction and motorists should allow for extra time if traveling in the area or seek an alternate route.
