The Whitpain Township Police Department have issued a press release detailing a single vehicle crash on Monday, July 10 which left a 33-year-old man dead and a 31-year-old man severely injured.

The incident occurred around 10:30pm at the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Wickerfield Drive. Stenton Avenue was closed to all traffic Tuesday morning as police investigators tried to determine the cause of the crash.

Police said the vehicle crashed into a utility pole and went up in flames. The surviving victim was airlifted to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment.
