Peggy Dolan, a Fort Washington resident and retired executive director and co-founder of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, was featured by 6ABC for her four-decade commitment to helping families with children fighting diseases.

Her daughter, Kelly Anne Dolan, passed away at seven-years-old from leukemia in 1976. In response, the Dolans created a support system for others facing a similar tragedy.

Over 30,000 families have been supported through the Fund, including financial support, family fun days, expense paid day-trips, and more.
