GMercyU releases plans for Frances M. Maguire Healthcare Innovation Center, hosts Community Conversation on Suicide Prevention

Gwynedd Mercy University recently provided plan updates for the forthcoming Frances M. Maguire Healthcare Innovation Center, a 65,000 square foot structure and the largest academic building on campus.

The building will feature flexible, state-of-the-art classroom spaces, study spaces for students, and immersive simulation and skills labs where students can practice clinical skills and address complex patient scenarios.

The building also offers multiple spaces for inter-professional collaboration among programs. Nursing students will be able to collaborate with Public Health, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Care, Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Psychology and other students to provide optimized patient care, a best-practice in healthcare.

GMercyU will break ground on the building this fall.
