Gwynedd Valley mansion on the market for $3.3M

A Mediterranean-style mansion in Gwynedd Valley with a golf simulator, wine cellar and handcrafted detailing is on the market for $3.38 million.

According to Realtor.com, the property at 1509 Latchstring Lane was built in 2008 and listed for sale in mid-June.

According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, the 9,200-square-foot home was designed by Main Line custom home designer Rene Hoffman. Property records show the home is owned by Debra and James Genuardi, who is part of the family that owned the Genuardi’s Family Markets grocery store chain in the Delaware Valley.

On the main level of the home, marble and wood flooring run throughout, and the ceiling in each room has a different kind of treatment whether they be coffered, recessed or beamed. Chandeliers hang in the foyer, dining room and living room, which sits below a balcony and includes another smaller bar area. An office features custom woodwork on the floor. The primary bedroom sits on the main level as well, with luxury bathrooms and a large walk-in closet.

The property’s realtor said interest has come from doctors, lawyers and business owners from Greater Philadelphia, Tennessee and Lancaster.
