Huge Ambler Farmers’ Market this Saturday!

If you’ve never been to the Ambler Farmers’ Market before OR if you are looking for an awesome experience this coming Saturday morning, July 2nd, there is no better place to be between 9 am and 1 pm in Ambler!

We have to start with the fresh produce. Farmers from less than 100 miles away will have fruits and vegetables that were picked less than 24 hours you buy them. The variety is unmatched! Only some of the expected bounty includes: Peaches, Blueberries, Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Black Raspberries, Lettuce and more. There will be artisan sausage for grilling, along with all manner of pastured meats. Baked goods are on the menu as well as treats, sauces, soaps and the like. This market will have the most participants EVER with 18 VENDORS – Alice Bakery, Claybrick Farms, Appletree Goat Dairy, J’s Gouramaze, Taproot Farm, Backyard Beans, Pennypack Farm and Education Center, Cardinal Hollow Winery, Freeland Market, Saucy Sue’s Sauces, Waffatopia, Tandi’s Natural, Frecon Farms, Davidson’s Mushrooms, Cultivating Joy Flowers, Woof and Wags, Bucks County Brittle, Sole Kombucha.

If that’s not enough, Trax Restaurant and Cafe is grilling outdoors for the event that they are calling Grillstravaganza! You can come and shop and then enjoy a grilled up hot dog, grass-fed burger and ALSO take home some of Trax’s delicious dinner items to go. Check out the menu:

July 4th Menu 1Ambler Mayor Jeanne Sorg will be on hand at 10:30 am to read some July 4th stories for the kiddies AND for a sing-a-long with our returning musical guest, Rob Tomlinson. Rob will be playing the market for the first time since opening day! Check out Rob’s band, Post War Dream, here.
