SEPTA has announced its plan to provide transportation on Friday, February 14th, for the parade to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl. That plan includes a much-reduced service schedule for Ambler and Fort Washington stations. Most stations along the Lansdale/Doylestown are closed.
What will it cost to get to the parade? Regional Rail customers can use Key cards and passes or purchase a Special One-Day Pass for the parade. The $10 Special One-Day Pass went on sale on Wednesday, February 12th, and can only be purchased in person at a Regional Rail Sales Office before Friday. These passes must be purchased in advance and are valid for 10 rides across all modes. If not used on Friday for the parade, it can be used on another date of the customer’s choosing. Regional Rail fares cannot be purchased on the day of the parade.
If you are a regular commuter and rely on SEPTA to get to work, SEPTA is abdicating its commitment to you.
