David Anthony DeVincent, 32, of Lansdale has been arrested on a charge of felony burglary for a July 19 incident in which DeVincent broke into a garage on the 600 block of Green Street in Upper Gwynedd Township.

According to police, DeVincent was found leaving the garage wearing latex gloves. Officers also found a Ford Explorer belonging to DeVincent with its license plate covered with black electrical tape, backed into an alley adjacent to the garage.

DeVincent admitted to officers that he’d removed the garage’s lock and the garage’s renter confirmed that DeVincent did not have permission to enter it. According to The Reporter, they saw through the truck’s windows numerous items from the garage.

DeVincent’s next date in court is a formal arraignment scheduled for Sept. 6.
