Beginning April 1st, Montgomery County Community College will have a new President. Kevin Pollock, current President of St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, Michigan will take over for Dr. Karen A. Stout. Dr. Stoudt left the college last year to lead an advocacy group for community colleges, Achieving the Dream.

“It is my sincere hope that we can work together to build upon the foundation set by the faculty, staff, and Dr. Stout and advance the college even more so in the future to the benefit of the students and the community,” Pollock said in a news release announcing his hiring.

James J. Linksz, the college’s interim president, will continue until April 1st.
