PGA’s Truist Championship to be held at Wissahickon Course in Flourtown May 5-11, $2.5M charitable impact expected

The 2025 Truist Championship will be held from May 5-11 at The Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course in Flourtown (6025 W Valley Green Road).

Normally based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the tournament announced its temporary move in August 2024.

Between 12,000 and 15,000 people are expected to attend daily, and the PGA Tour event has nearly sold out of its premium hospitality suites, Philadelphia Business Journal reported. The Truist Championship initially offered nearly 70 hospitality blocks primarily located on holes 15 through 18. Those ranged in price from $50,000 to $200,000 for spaces for 16, 30 or 60 people.

Truist plans to generate $2.5 million in charitable impact through partnerships with area nonprofits, including a five-year partnership with the First Tee of Greater Philadelphia, a nonprofit that focuses on youth development through the game of golf.
