Presentation scheduled for May 17th for the redevelopment of three lots in downtown Ambler with retail, townhouses, and apartments

On the May 2nd agenda of Ambler’s Borough Council, it mentions that there is a presentation scheduled for a May 17th meeting that involves the redevelopment of three adjacent lots in downtown Ambler. From the agenda:

The COURT AT AMBLER STATION SKETCH PLAN
A presentation will be made on May 17th Council meeting for The Court at Ambler Station Sketch Plan (10, 14-22 N. Main Street & 9 W Butler Avenue) proposed to consolidate three lots and construct a mixed-use building containing commercial space along Butler Avenue, 13 townhouses and 17 apartments. Parking is provided at grade under the building along Race Street and within garages of townhouse units.

AroundAmbler.com first reported on this plan in 2021 when it was announced that Station Partners had purchased the three properties near the corner of Butler Avenue and Main Street and planned to raze the existing structures and redevelop the property into a mixed-use development with residential apartments or townhomes above retail.

Station Partners is not new to redeveloping properties in Ambler. It is the company behind the redevelopment of a former chemical manufacturing and research facility into the mixed-use campus Ambler Yards and it renovated the office building at 124 South Maple Street.
