Sandy Run MS teacher’s aid performs life-saving technique on student

NBC10 reported last week that Verushka Greta Parker, a teacher’s aid at Sandy Run Middle School, Fort Washington, came to the rescue of Lydia Molloy, a student.

Lydia was choking on a piece of candy when Verushka noticed her distress and intervened with the Heimlich maneuver. Verushka said CPR training allowed her to save the girl’s life.
