UDLC Social Ministry Makes Year-End Donations to Thirteen Causes and Organizations

The end of 2016 brought with it a chance for the Upper Dublin Lutheran Church to make donations to 13 causes and organizations.

Pastor Clifford Liu to support his outreach and ministry in China and now also to Taiwan, Malaysia and Hawaii.

Pastor Mark Bathala for his outreach to women and children in India.

Carson Valley Children’s Aid provides special education and treatment services to emotionally disturbed and behaviourally disordered students.

St. James School is a faith based middle school committed to educating traditionally under-resourced students in Philadelphia.

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services stands with and advocates for migrants and refugees through its ministry of service and justice.

Lutheran Disaster Response provides help for people suffering from natural and human-caused disasters.

Silver Springs Martin Luther School has a campus in Plymouth Meeting that serves children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County helps build homes through partnerships of families and volunteers.

Lutheran Settlement House provides social, educational, employment and counseling services to adults, youth, families and seniors in the Philadelphia area.

Unite for Her supports the physical and emotional needs of those with breast cancer by bridging the gap between the medical and wellness communities.

Cranaleith Spiritual Center offers a contemplative space for reflection, dialogue and retreats to promote healing, including our military families.

Chosen 300 supports the homeless with meals and housing in the Philadelphia area.

Lutheran Congregational Services serves local congregations with educational and social ministry organization, grief ministry, leadership development, retreats and more.
