Upper Dublin’s Colin O’Sullivan receives John Pavlick Scholarship, throws game-winning touchdown at Big 33 Football Classic

Upper Dublin quarterback Colin O’Sullivan was recently chosen as the 2023 recipient of the John Pavlick Scholarship.

From Upper Dublin High School Cardinals Football Facebook post:

Thank you Brett Stover and all the Upper Dublin HS football coaches for choosing Colin as this year’s recipient of the John Pavlick Scholarship! Colin had the best experiences of his life with UD football. He started with UD flag when he was 4 years old. He has been coached by so many amazing people. Coaches, never underestimate the positive impact you have on kids and dreams you make a reality. Thank you to the UD booster club for the hundreds of hours you spend behind the scenes, feeding, clothing & supporting our boys! We are forever grateful to everyone who supported Colin on this journey. Colin will miss playing for UD but it will always be a part of him. Next step Rutgers!

Late last month, O’Sullivan helped Pennsylvania take down Maryland for the fifth consecutive year in the 66th annual Big 33 Football Classic at Bishop McDevitt’s Rocco Ortenzio Stadium in Harrisburg.

The Rutgers commit threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Dallastown wide receiver and Pittsburgh commit Kenny Johnson. O’Sullivan finished the game 9-for-17 for 153 yards.

The Big 33 Football Classic features the top players from Pennsylvania against the top players from Maryland and is known as “The Super Bowl of High School Football.”
