Wissahickon Valley Public Library to host Cheers to 100 Years anniversary celebration on April 28

The Wissahickon Valley Public Library will host a Cheers to 100 Years anniversary celebration on Sunday, April 28 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

This year’s gala will feature a silent auction to raise money for needed renovations at the main library in Blue Bell.

Among the items up for the auction are paintings, gift baskets and a special quilt hand stitched by an artisan in Kathmandu, providing work for economically-challenged women and educating at-risk children in South Asia.

Guests will have the opportunity to participate in online silent auction, sample delicious food from local restaurants and wine, cocktail and beer tastings. You can also bring a cherished book for a complimentary evaluation.

Invitation cards are available at both the branches.
