Arpeggio in Spring House to Close Prior to Move

Michael Klein of Philly.com reports that Arpeggio in Spring House is being forced to close before a move across the street to the eventual, revitalized shopping center with a Whole Foods included.

Initially, the plan was for Arpeggio to close one day in their old location and open the next day at their new digs, but the developer has informed the owners that they must close on May 6th – about a month before their new spot is ready.

From Philly.com:

Plan is to reopen in early June…For the new space, DAS Architects is working with 60 percent more floor space – 4,550 square feet – and 24-foot high ceilings. The restaurant will seat 120 in two rooms – separated by a two-sided fireplace – and will have a covered 1,100-square-foot deck with 50 seats overlooking ponds. The restaurant will also include 118 wine lockers.
