On Sunday, December 18th, the Fort Washington Fire Company will be escorting Santa Claus through Upper Dublin Township. The fire company and Santa will be traveling three separate routes. Maps showing the route Santa will travel are linked below.• Dasher (Northwest}• Prancer (Southwest)All three routes will begin at 6pm.The fire company and Santa are also providing two no siren/emergency light opportunities for families that have sensory concerns. The first will be along the Blitzen route and will be at Queen of Peace Catholic Church (approximately 6:15). The second will be along the Dasher route and will be at Saint Alphonsus Church of Maple Glen, Pa. (approximately 6:40). Maps of how Santa will travel through the churches' parking lots are included.The fire company will be using the app Glympse which will allow families to track Santa’s progress throughout the event. Links for the three routes will be posted on Facebook at 5:30 on December 18th.Please keep in mind that the Fort Washington Fire Company will remain in service during the event and will be responding to emergency calls. We will post on Facebook if we are going to be delayed.
