Fort Washington’s Trumark Financial raises $13K at 12th annual Kiss a Pig fundraiser

TruMark Financial Credit Union hosted its 12th annual Kiss A Pig fundraiser on Wednesday, May 24 in Philadelphia. The event raised over $13,000 for Financial Literacy Education while emphasizing the importance of financial education.

Participants signed up to kiss Ruby the pig from Ross Mill Farms.


The funds raised through the event will benefit several schools and organizations dedicated to promoting financial education. Recipients of the grants include Baldi Middle School, George Washington High School, Maritime Academy Charter School, Our Lady of Calvary School, and St. Jerome School. Additionally, the Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM), also will receive a grant to further their financial education initiatives.

The event received support from local sponsors including Freedom Mortgage, Kershner Office Furniture, State National, and PSCU, and was emceed by Marc Farzetta, the host of “Farzetta in the Morning” on 97.5 The Fanatic.

Speeches by Liz Crawford and Grant Gilmore, the husband-wife duo and new hires for CBS Philadelphia, emphasized the importance of financial education in shaping a secure future for individuals and communities.

sponsors,” said Kelly Botti, CEO of TruMark Financial Credit Union. “Their commitment to financial
education is truly commendable, and we are proud to channel these funds to schools and organizations
that will make a meaningful impact in promoting financial education.”
