Gwynedd Mercy University’s Respiratory Care Program has been named a 2023-2024 recipient of The American Association for Respiratory Care’s (AARC) Apex Recognition Award. GMercyU is one of 10 universities in the nation to receive this honor. 

The award highlights best practices in the professional education of respiratory therapists. The respiratory therapy industry is projected to increase 14 percent from 2021 to 2031.
