According to Whitpain Township, PennDot has reported that the new traffic signal at Route 202 and Wawa’s southern driveway will be but on “flash” beginning February 1st. Motorists will see a flashing yellow light until the light becomes fully active.

“This signal is necessary to provide safe access to the new Centre Square Commons development,” said Township Engineer Jim Blanch. “Because of this signal, motorists exiting onto 202 from Wawa or Centre Square Commons will be able to make full movements, including left turns, through the intersection.”
