Penn Medicine will open a $282 million ambulatory care center in Montgomery Township during fall 2027, The Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
The 162,000 sf facility is currently under construction at 200 DeKalb Pike. Crews first broke ground in April 2025.
CEO Kevin Mahoney told The Journal that the building would provide an array of services, including cancer care, and “will expand options for patients to receive advanced care in Montgomery and Bucks counties”, according to a previous announcement from Penn Medicine.
It will also provide comprehensive cancer care, including radiation oncology services and chemotherapy, primary care, heart and vascular, orthopaedic and neuroscience care, and specialized services in women’s health and surgical consultations.
“By bringing advanced, lifesaving services closer to patients, especially those undergoing cancer therapy that can last for months, we’re not just enhancing accessibility—we’re transforming the entire treatment journey,” Mahoney said. “Penn Medicine Montgomeryville will make getting care easier for patients, while reimagining how treatments should be delivered and experienced.”
