Public hearing scheduled for ‘Maple Glen Triangle’ townhome development

Horsham Township Council will hold a public hearing on the conditional use application for townhome development in the “Maple Glen Triangle,” a tract of land so dubbed for the congestion it causes for residents and motorists of Horsham and Upper Dublin townships.

The hearing is scheduled for the next Horsham Township Council meeting at 7:30pm on Wednesday, March 13.

Back in June 2023, Horsham Township Council unanimously approved a zoning change for the development, which would be near the Key Bank at 726 Norristown Road.

The 2023 ruling allowed for as many as 53 townhomes to be built on 14.5 acres that were initially zoned for single-family housing.

The project was first presented by Sal Paone Builders in June 2022.
